MVACG Info for Week of 7/31/17

Hello MVACG Families -

Practice

  • Monday, July 31: Watts Middle School, 7056 McEwen Rd, Centerville, OH 45459  Time: 6pm - 7pm
  • Monday, August 7: Parkview Church, 3713 Benner Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342 
  • Monday, August 14 - April 9: Practice starts back at Jane Chance Elementary, 10661 Wood Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342 and will continue until guard season is over. 

***No practice Monday, September 18th.  We will practice before the Centerville performance.

Fall "uniform" 
  • Plain black shirt - No writing on the shirt. It can be short sleeve, long sleeve or sweatshirt depending on the weather.
  • Jeans - Can be capris during warmer weather
  • Shoes - Gym shoes

Performances

Northmont show is Labor Day weekend.  Let me know Monday if you will not be able to be there.

  • Saturday, Sept. 2: Northmont Band Premier
  • Friday, Sept. 8: Miamisburg
  • Thursday, Sept. 21: Centerville 
  • Saturday, Oct. 14: Kettering Band Competition


Housekeeping

We will be filling out paperwork Monday, July 31 during practice.  Bring addresses for donation letters.


All practice dates & performance dates are updated on the MVACG calendar on the website www.mvacg.org. You will find the calendar by clicking the word calendar on the left side of the home page. You should be able to add it to your Google calendar by clicking the + on the bottom right corner of the calendar. When you click on the practice or performance on the calendar, you will see the address of the venue.

 If your child is not going to be at practice or at any of the performances above, please text me at 937 271-2288 ASAP.
